Leaders - Born or Bred

Leaders are bred:
Leader doesn’t mean a politician who try to convince the people for voting but the leader is that person whom the other persons want to follow or idealize him/her because of his/her capabilities.

Arguments against that the Leaders are Born
An American psychologist William James formulated a theory of basic personality types
  1. One Born
  2. Twice Born
One Born are those personalities who passes through the same life pattern they don’t have any difficulty in their lives, while the Twice Born are those who passes through different stages of life and they see & experience of different stages, because of these factors these individual have little dependence on their leading skills so they can be good leader.
This theory shows that the leading skills are God gifted can not be produced or the leaders can not be bred. But my arguments are against this theory because of the following
  • If the Twice Born are leaders and they have achieved their goals so there is no chance for their children to become a leader because then they will go through the same life pattern as the one born go   
  • If the leaders are born then the children of leaders must be leaders because they have the genes of leading
  • If the leaders are born then they should show their leading capabilities from their childhood
  • If the leaders are born then there is no need to train them for leading indifferent scenarios
  • Born leaders should not take time to show their skills they should capture the attention of others from their early age
  • We normally see the great leaders have experience of past and they plan their future according to the past situations
  •  The leaders learn through their mistakes and the born leader should not do such mistakes
  • They always ready to learn
  • They convince the others by setting their own examples we can enhance their communication skills to convince others
  • We can create the spirit of leading by motivation & comparison
  • Most of the organization use training program to enhance leading skills of their employees
  • But the training is not enough because to become a leader your inner want is also important
  • If the training is enough then the every person will be a leader
  • Leader are normally those person who learned through their experiences to set and achieve goals
  • We can urge them for setting goals by giving them example of successful personalities
  • Through training we can realize them about the purpose of life
  • If the leaders are born then they don’t do any effort to achieve their goal because they know that they have the genes of leadership
  • But when we see our past we have lots of example of leaders who did hard work and become successful in their lives
But to become a leader there are some constraints which are as follow
  • The aptitude to become a leader
  • The desire to become a leader
 We learn through our life experiences like
 ·         Like when a child start to walk he/she don’t know how to walk but after the guidance of his/her parents he/she start to walk and after that he/she become able to run because he/she has the desire to walk and run like others
 ·         When a student goes for school he/she don’t know how to read & write? But after spending some time he/she become able to read & write himself/herself
